Terry Seabrook (organ) has long been considered one of the top UK keyboardists and bandleaders. He began his musical life on the violin before switching to piano, becoming enchanted with jazz after hearing Oscar Peterson. Terry studied music at Sussex University and spent a year in the US at Eastman School of Music. After graduation, he performed his first regular gigs on Fender Rhodes which, having no car, he wheeled on an old pram frame to the pub and back. He led a fusion band called Hipnosis, then discovered Latin Jazz and created his group Cubana Bop with whom toured and recorded 3 albums over 20 years. Terry’s more recent projects include his group Milestones which performs the music of Miles Davis, a quintet celebrating the music of Wayne Shorter, and his fusion organ trio, Triversion.
Peter Fraize (saxophone) has been a commanding presence on the Washington, DC scene for over 30 years, where he is known for his impassioned and high-energy playing, intricate and melodic composing, and his "no-boundaries" sensibility. Drawn to the saxophone because it looked cool, his career path was set upon hearing a Michael Brecker solo on a Blue Öyster Cult album. Peter studied at New England Conservatory, transferring to the Netherlands Royal Conservatory, where he earned his Artist’s Diploma. Returning to DC, he established himself as a bandleader with the fusion outfit Stickman, his “chordless” groups, and his New Quintet, all of which primarily feature his own compositions. Peter has served as the Director of Jazz Studies at the George Washington University for the past 25 years, and regularly performs with groups spanning rock, folk, free improvising, and jazz.
Jack Kendon (trumpet) followed his father, renowned bassist Adrian Kendon, into the family business and has himself become a prominent force in the UK jazz world. After studying at Middlesex University, Jack quickly gained notice as a player in London before relocating to his native Brighton and the South Coast’s vibrant jazz scene. In 2016 he released the acclaimed There Will Be Time, co-led by top UK vocalist Imogen Ryall, and is preparing an album with his father, showcasing the elder Kendon’s legacy. He has performed sold-out shows at Ronnie Scott’s, Pizza Express and The Verdict, and regularly plays international festivals such as Love Supreme and the Bahrain Jazz Festival. Jack is the co-founder and director of New Generation Jazz which helps emerging artists build audiences and introduces young people to the vital, living tradition of jazz music.
Milo Fell (drums) is one of the most sought-after drummers in UK Jazz today. Originally inspired by Ringo Starr and Animal from the Muppets, it was hearing Omar Hakim with Weather Report that drew him firmly into jazz. Milo began playing regularly while studying Molecular Biology at Manchester University, becoming a fixture on the Mancunian scene for the next decade. Returning to his hometown London for a week-long run at Ronnie Scott’s with saxophonist Tim Whitehead, he continued to build his reputation as the drummer to call, performing with a who’s-who of the London and surrounding area’s top players and bands. In 2013, Milo relocated to Brighton where he is constantly in demand for his creativity, unfailing sense of time, and deep grooves.
